I’ve noticed that even after a full night’s sleep, many of us still feel tired.
That’s because stress doesn’t go away just with sleep 💤
Our body also needs small breaks during the day to stay active and avoid burnout. Studies show that taking short, mindful pauses can lower stress hormones and improve focus.
A few types of rest you can take throughout the day:
• Keep your phone or laptop away for 10 minutes and close your eyes for a short break every 1–2 hours, especially if you have a desk job 👩🏻💻
• Eat one meal fully present, paying attention to each bite.
• Get 5 minutes of sunlight to wake up your system.
• Sit quietly without doing anything, even if it feels boring, your brain and body actually need some boredom to reset 🔋
