This patch has two voices — drone and pinging. The drone comes from the PIZZA and uses special trick — the SQUARE output is used for the RATIO OSC. This and the MAIN output are then mixed using the IKARIE (using only mono output) and because the RATIO OSC was perfect fifth, we get a power chord. Feel free to experiment with WAVE, FOLD and FM INDEX to find the perfect sound ✨. The output from the IKARIE is then processed with the BASIL which acts as a stereo reverb (HYPER-SPACE mode, BLUR and TAPS to the right, slow LFO to STEREO via CTRL).
The second voice is dual filter pinging. Filter pinging is an old method of generating plucking sounds. It works by sending a trigger into almost self-oscillating low pass filter. Because the IKARIE has essentially 2 detunable filters, you can send two independent triggers to each channel and detune them to get two filter pinging voices. As with the drone, we then process the LEFT output (which mixes the two channels) with the BASIL which this time works as a synced stereo delay.
Everything is sequenced and modulated with the NEO TRINITY and mixed in the CIAO!!
