The *BRRRR method* is _not_ deadâfar from it. In fact, itâs still one of my absolute _favorite_ *investing strategies* today. But in 2026, you need to change how you use it.
Iâm about to show you a variation of the traditional BRRRR that *gives you all the upside and scalability* youâd expect from one of these deals, *but with far less risk, more time, and greater flexibility.* And in _this_ *housing market?* Thatâs exactly what you need.
*Iâm talking about the âslowâ BRRRR.* The steps are similar: You still *buy a rental property, rehab it, rent it out to tenants, refinance, and repeat the process,* but hereâs where this strategy takes a turn. Rather than targeting a run-down property and maximizing its value, you identify a *completely habitable, cash-flowing property* that just needs a little TLC.
This achieves three things that the average BRRRR doesnât, and it _could_ be the difference between merely buying a decent property and landing a home-run deal.
