In this video, Stephan reviews the Renaissance HEMA Doublet Master 350N from Spes. It is a 350 Newton rated fabric jacket for historic fencing and it is custom made with a navy blue body and Hungarian red arms. It has a 3D mesh inside and two protective foam plates in the front. It is easy to put on and has an extra strap to tighten it around the waist. He also reviews its "maybe" companion, the Diamond HEMA Plastron NG 800N, which is 800 Newton rated fabric and has a blade catcher and two pockets for protective material. It is easy to put on and has four straps to close it. It is puncture resistant and provides extra protection against thrusts. It is great for one-handed weapons like rapier or side sword, but not so much for saber or long sword. It is also great for looking fancy.
