Things inside Carswell are tense. The women (and also some transmasc inmates) are all being constantly peppered with rumors and told that they'll be moved to a men's prison this week. They are being ordered to surrender their gender-appropriate garments.
But this is all happening when at the same time, US District Judge Royce Lamberth is issuing even MORE orders demanding that the Federal government and the Bureau of Prisons make no changes to the medical and housing situation of the trans prisoners who are detained at Carswell.
