Especially if you focus on competing against yourself.
I started making action figure dioramas in 2018, and like most beginners, I wasn't very good at it, BUT I LOVED it.
I loved the freedom, I loved the ability to take something in my imagination and turn it into something physical and I loved that it allowed me to get back into action figure collecting, which I hadn't been into since childhood.
I decided to focus on getting 1% better on each project and really tried not to compare myself to other artists.
It's been almost 8 years since I started and I can honestly say I have seen so much growth in myself as an artist and as a person over that time using that mentality.
My hope is that anyone seeing my videos will be inspired to use their creativity, because your own creativity can and will fuel your personal growth if you let it.
