What if a full-face motorcycle helmet didn’t need a traditional chinstrap at all? 🏍️
The ROOF DJAGGER takes a very different approach to helmet design. Instead of being pulled over the head and secured with a conventional chinstrap buckle, its rear section opens outward to create space for the rider to get in and out.
ROOF says the occipital opening system also allows riders to keep their glasses and gloves on, while potentially making it easier for emergency responders to access the face after a fall without putting unnecessary strain on the rider’s neck.
The prototype is also expected to feature a photochromic visor and Pinlock anti-fog lens. Before reaching production, however, the DJAGGER will need to meet ECE 22.06 safety requirements.
