Samson just released and I had high hopes going into it… but after playing it, I came away disappointed. In this video I break down my first impressions of Samson, including the Unreal Engine 5 performance issues, unoptimized gameplay, and overall lack of polish that holds the game back.

The frustrating part is that Samson actually gets a lot right — from its atmosphere and visual style to the music and overall concept. But when it comes to moment-to-moment gameplay, things start to fall apart quickly.
