RustDesk is arguably the best open source alternative to TeamViewer and AnyDesk, and in this guide we take it a step further by self-hosting our own relay and signal server. We spin it up in Proxmox using a helper script, grab the security keys, and connect clients on Linux and Windows so your remote sessions never touch a public relay.
