I built Polarity-Recorder for the moments when something great happens before you press record. The free plug-in continuously keeps the last 1–20 minutes of audio, so you can recover performances, loops and sound-design accidents directly inside your DAW.
In this video I show the host-synced timing markers and snapping, the built-in waveform editor, drag-and-drop export, searchable clip history, and the Rotate/Wrap tools for turning reverb tails or uneven recordings into seamless loops.
Polarity-Recorder v0.2.0 is free for Windows, macOS and Linux. It is available as CLAP, VST3, LV2 and standalone, with AUv2 on macOS. No account and no telemetry. Native drag-and-drop export is available on Windows and macOS; on Linux, use SAVE.
