I haven’t toured my solo catalog in so many years and when I make these songs in my modest creative corner of the country, I sometimes forget anyone but me is hearing them.
Not only am I humbled to show up in a city and see anyone there to see my show, but I get to feel a whole new level of pride in the work when I get to hear a packed house singing a song like “If Anything”.
I know I love the vibe of it. MIKE SUMMERS loves what I did over his production. I know the song makes my mom cry every time she hears it.
But after hearing a venue full of people singing it with me in Denver the other night, I felt less alone in the journey.
Thank you to everyone who came out to these recent 11 shows. You’re all real ones in my book. HIT ME IF ANYTHING!
