Lance Ingram's entrepreneurial journey took an unexpected turn when a life-changing accident made him completely rethink his career path. After building a successful lawn care business in his early 20s, Lance had traded it all for a corporate medical sales job, chasing the allure of a traditional career. But fate had other plans.
The accident became his wake-up call, pushing him to realize that entrepreneurship was his true calling. In 2021, Lance launched Waterloo Turf as a one-man operation at age 27. His instincts proved right; by 2024, his two Texas locations were generating $2M in revenue. But here's where it gets interesting: Lance isn't stopping there. He's now launching Waterloo as a lawn franchise operation, partnering with Timothy Lovett, former VP of Operations at Resibrands, and attracting heavyweight franchisees like Brian Beers.
