Today we ride the Utrecht fast tram (sneltram) network. We will specifically be looking at the Uithof line, the newest extension which opened in 2019 and uses CAF Urbos 100 light rail vehicles. This line is very fast (top speed 70 km/h) and service is frequent (12 trains per hour). BUT... on the weekends, the stations become a ghost town. Find out why...
