When wiring the backup circuits on this battery storage installation, we hit an unexpected problem...

There wasn't a standard distribution board that could split the backed-up and non-backed-up circuits the way we needed. So instead, we built our own using an Allbro enclosure, creating a compact, easy-to-understand solution that keeps essential loads running during a power cut while isolating high-demand circuits like the EV charger and water heater.

Sometimes the best solution isn't on the shelf... yet.
