The Crazy Tube Circuits Triptychon is not just a fuzz pedal. It is a complete fuzz system with three independent panels: a drive section that simulates a cranked amp, a fuzz section with four vintage circuits (Fuzz Face, Vox Tone Bender, Tone Bender 1.5 and 2.0), and a boost/octave section. It is built to solve the problem every fuzz player knows: vintage fuzz circuits sound thin through clean pedal platform amps.
I tested it with an SG and a Strat through a Fender Deluxe Reverb, explored every fuzz mode, pushed the octave section into chaos, and found out what happens when you back off the guitar volume.
Specs covered: four fuzz modes (Fuzz Face, Vox Tone Bender, Tone Bender 1.5, Tone Bender 2.0), independent drive section, octave fuzz and boost with mod switch, anti-buffer switches for impedance matching, six silicon transistors, XT external footswitch support, three routing modes.
