Welcome back to another shields of shame video. In this video you will meet a dirty shamed cop named SANTIAGO MICHEL RUEDA of the Americas police department in Georgia. Rueda has been involved in multiple incidents leading up to his decertification in 2023. This is just one of those incidents. Rueda claims he went to a construction job in Perry Georgia with his friends. After completing the job they headed home and were stopped by Perry Police for a window tint violation as the driver was previously cited and arrested. Rueda was a passenger in the car and he was also wearing his Americus police department shirt. Rueda told officers he was a cop and was suspended but actually Rueda resigned in lieu of termination for an investigation into Rueda not taking an assault charge seriously that was reported to him by the victim. He brushed her off and dismissed her allegations and later called her delusional in a Georgia POST council interview, which is a part of this series.
