In today’s impromptu vlog, I share a moment that really touched me. While with another solo 50+ YouTuber @CindyVine a subscriber came up to us and shared the kindest words about our channels. She told my friend how much her videos made her laugh and inspired her, and she told me that my video about how to matriculate a car in Portugal was invaluable — it helped her so much and connected her with someone who made the whole process easy.
Moments like this remind me why I keep picking up the camera. Moving to Portugal isn’t always easy, and if even one video helps someone through the challenges of starting over abroad, it’s worth it. I also end this vlog with my drive home across mountain ranges scarred by recent fires — a reminder of both the beauty and the challenges of life in Portugal.
