The most basic skill any artists needs
Is to be able to simplify complex subjects.
A sphere, a cylinder and a cone are much easier to imagine and deform in space than a fully detailed face.
So remember to study the fundamentals of shape and perspective if you have never dared to look at them.
And if you’re already past that chapter in your art journey, you might still wanna revisit them from time to time as a refresher!
