Sometimes decorating isn’t about finding the perfect piece… it’s about getting creative with what you already have.

I found this beautiful piece of a woman’s face for above my fireplace, but it was just a little too small for the wall. So instead of giving up on it, I layered another piece behind it — flipped upside down — and suddenly it became something completely different. Now it almost looks like the pear is forming her head.

Design doesn’t always have to be so literal. A little creativity can completely transform how something feels in your space.
