According to the ‘Handbook of Ritual Power’, a 1300 year old text written in Coptic that was inscribed with spells, curses and helpful incantations, it wasn’t the fact that you couldn’t get a girlfriend, it was the fact that your would-be girlfriend just didn’t know who you were.
