Most AI music tools right now—like Suno—are cloud-based, require subscriptions, and raise a lot of questions about ownership and usage. But what if you could generate AI music completely offline… on your own computer?
In this video, I check out Go-Compose by SoliderSound, a desktop AI music generator that runs locally—no internet required, no uploads, and no monthly fees.
I walk through the demo version, test out different genres (pop, rock, indie pop, dark pop), and share my honest thoughts as a songwriter and producer. There’s a lot to like here—especially the offline workflow—but there are also some limitations in this first version that you should know about.
We also compare it to tools like Suno, especially when it comes to:
* Using your own melodies and lyrics
* Workflow flexibility
* Control vs convenience
