We took a trip to San Francisco to meet up with @KarlMeyer and put his 3D printing knowledge to the test! On this episode of #PrintFixFriday, we’re showing off one of the largest @bondtechab INDX Founders Edition prints ever made: a massive, 233% scale, 8-color printed INDX toolhead which filled up the @Prusa3D CORE One's build volume. This epic 3-day print required over 4,700 tool changes!
But it wasn’t an easy journey. We ran into a massive clog on nozzle 6, forcing us to perform a manual nylon cold pull using PA12 nylon from @polarfilament to clear out a CHT nozzle. We also tested multi-colored fidget cubes with over 870 tool changes, which led to cooling, overextrusion, and software slicing issues.
