Tripod is a three legged dog. A terrible car accident left him badly injured, and he was going to be put down. But instead, he found a life with Marne, who nursed him back to health. They met each other at a time when they both, in their own way, in need of care. As their relationship unfolded, Tripod has taught Marne to give love, and also to receive love in return, without any expectations... to love unconditionally.
