A retro graphics tablet review, looking at the first generation of Wacom Intuos drawing tablets, which is still going strong in 2021!
This is the third of my drawing tablet reviews for DrawYourWeapon.com where I'm looking first at older Wacom tablets to see if these might be good options for digital art beginners who are on a tight budget: drawyourweapon.com/looking-at-old-wacom-drawing-tablet
This specific model of old Wacom tablet is the legacy Intuos GD-1212-U, with a USB connector.
The working area is 12x12 inches, the pens have 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, and it's got 60 degrees of tilt recognition which surprised me.
Software used in the video is Krita, a free digital art software option you can get here: krita.org/en
