Developed in 1990 for the Atari and arcades machines, Klax was a unique tetris-like puzzle game where the player needs to stack multiple colored tiles to make 3 to 5 in a row combinations to get a high score and beat each level. However, as the game progresses, tiles start falling faster and faster, and for each tile dropped, a life is lost.
Sorry for the stretched aspect ratio. When I recorded this footage I still hadn't figured out how to do it properly with DOSBox.
DOS Port of Klax played on DOSBox-x.
DOSBox-x stable release from December 2025: github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x/releases/tag/dosbox-x-v2025.12.01
Do not download the 2026 version of DOSBox-x; it keeps crashing to desktop.
