Every bit of animation that I’ve done this year! Of course, there isn’t as much as previous years, but that means that a higher percentage of the work is animation, not just PMV. I’m glad to say that I’ve improved just as much as the previous years, it’s harder to tell, but I’ve started using different ear shapes, muzzles, and fur for different characters. Of course, it’s not perfect, but my characters are one step closer to being easily recognizable, which is my main goal for my art.
Anyway, I am working on things, but I’m slowing it down a bit because I need to do school, improve my mental health, and care for my animals. When I started this channel, I didn’t have many responsibilities. Now I’m the primary caretaker for my five animals, and I’ve been diagnosed with many conditions that I need to work on. It’s not that I’ll stop posting or quit animation, I just need to put some responsibilities before YouTube.
Something I’ve realized is that my goal isn’t really to be a professional animator anymore. I need to be in a certain mindset to animate, I couldn’t do it for long periods of time every single day like in a studio. My dream is to open an ethical pet store, or something along those lines.
