ThinkPad T480s RAM Upgrade Gone Wrong: Epic Fail! @LeonAnavi

Upgrading the RAM on a ThinkPad T480s sounds simple, but this time my attempt turned into an epic fail! 😵‍💻 With its 8th generation Intel SoC platform supporting up to 24GB of 2400MHz DDR4 memory (a mix of 8GB soldered RAM and one DDR4 SO-DIMM slot), this laptop is known for its versatility. However, things went sideways fast! 🔧💥 Fortunately, ThinkPad laptops come with two lifesaving features: the ability to disable the built-in battery via the BIOS Utility Settings 🔋 and Lenovo's built-in diagnostics, including memory tests 🛠️. The diagnostics tool is a low-level firmware which no matter what kind of an operating system you have on the laptop. It even even works if the OS is non-functional or completely missing.
