In this video, I demonstrated the disassembly and memory upgrade process for the Lenovo ThinkCentre M75q Gen 2 equipped with an AMD Ryzen processor. The upgrade involves installing a 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM module in the primary memory slot and relocating the original 8GB module to the secondary slot, resulting in a total capacity of 40GB. Because the primary SO-DIMM slot manages the majority of I/O-intensive operations, assigning the higher-capacity module to this channel ensures optimal memory throughput and improved overall system performance. This configuration provides enhanced multitasking efficiency and better handling of memory-demanding workloads.
