In which we learn of rust gas. There is a total of 2119 loot on Expert. This level contains 1 secret and some interesting coding. The last line Karras mentions is the location of a key. Mistakenly I put 8, it is actually 10 locations it can switch between.

Thief 2: The Metal Age was made by Looking Glass Studios in 2000, published by Eidos Interactive. It uses the same engine as Thief:TDP and Thief Gold. It released in late February 2000. Looking Glass Studios closed their doors in May of the same year despite critical acclaim due to financial issues with Eidos Interactive, now owned by Square.
Game gamma is up to max for easier viewing. There may be some jumps and skips, I edit out screw-ups that are either uninteresting, or take too long after a quick-save. This is on the NewDark 1.21 patch.
This is not a ghost playthrough, it would probably take me over two hours per level :)
