Time to get this 3D bear carving going. This was scanned with the Einstar Vega scanner and then brought into Vectric CNC software for the carve. I really like the visualization of carving in the software as it will show the roughing and the fine detail pass.

I'm using a 1/4" end mill for the roughing pass and a 1/16" ball nose end mill for the fine detail pass.
