Well! Overnight, I managed to hit a billion trillion subscribers. I'm now the most subscribed to channel here on YouTube. It's a pretty momentous occasion. I am expecting my ruby play button any day now, YouTube.
To celebrate, here's a custom in Frets on Fire. Yes, FoF, in nearly 2022. I'm apparently one of the three remaining people whose mostly up-to-date computers can run FoF, and I wanted to see what it took to get a custom into it. Answer: too much work. It's much closer to GH1 than it is GH2, right down to reading MIDIs with a T1_GEMS track. But hey, I didn't need to chart bass!
As for Maxton covers, I'm hoping to use a few of the more finished ones in a future all-soundalikes marfGH (thinking Volume 3, maybe). But that's a way's away. Go check them out and play with his neat little multitrack mixer before his domain registration expires (not that I don't have it all backed up): https://music.maxton.xyz
