What happens when you leave behind a stable corporate life and start over from scratch?
After getting married, Ken and Shiela Lao made a life-changing decision to leave Manila and move to Davao. With no background in agriculture and little experience in chocolate making, they took a chance on cacao.
What began as a small farm eventually became Cacao Culture, a social enterprise that champions Philippine chocolate while supporting farmers, local makers, and fellow entrepreneurs across the country.
