A woman went to Vanity Salon and Color Bar in Garner, North Carolina hoping to finally get the perm she had been saving up for — and says she walked away with severely damaged, fried hair instead.
After asking for a refund, she says she was ignored, given the runaround, and even told by the stylist, “I didn’t do that.” Once her TikTok started going viral, the situation completely blew up, the salon owner responded publicly, the stylist was reportedly no longer with the salon, and Millie finally received her refund.
In today’s video, we’re going through the entire situation, reacting to Millie’s videos, the salon’s response, and that apology — because there is A LOT to unpack here.
What do you think? Did the salon handle this appropriately once things went viral, or should this have been resolved immediately?
