Lanterns Season 1 Episode 3 finally gives us an entire episode focused on John Stewart, diving into his upbringing, his family, and the experiences that shaped the man who would eventually become a Green Lantern.
And while this version of John's origin is different from the comics, I actually think the writers are doing some really interesting things with it. In this review, I break down Lanterns S1 EP3, including John's childhood, his connection to his family, the changes made to his comic book origins, and what this new backstory could mean for his relationship with the Guardians of the Universe.
