This week, I 'ave been mostly playin' They Bleed Pixels. Released in 2012, a fun (if horridly-difficult) precision-platformer with decent combat, it still holds up a decade later. I was looking through my library, checking achievement stuff, and realised the devs added two more levels since I last played in, uh... 2013. So I've been brushing up on my skills by going through earlier stages and cleaning out all the earlier achievements. And whilst this game has manageable par-times (listed with each level), I figured it'd be worth sharing these for those interested. Most of them will be deathless clears as they ended up faster than the speed-clears I'd picked up before, but some of these WILL have failures. Also, the framerate seems to judder rather rarely, so I apologise if sometimes the brakepads randomly dig into the video.
This first video covers the first two "dreams", its themed levels based on whatever's been inflicted upon the Book of Claws - the first dream just dumps the young lady in a stygian desert, whilst the second throws 'em into an overgrown forest, following an unceremonious burial...

[15/12/2022 EDIT: Seems Youtubes decided this stuff is popular enough that adverts need to be stapled to them. I do not monetise my videos, and have no control over adverts being placed on my videos as per Youtubes whims; I apologise to folks who are unable to circumvent these things for one reason or another. If you have a problem with this, my suggestion would involve getting that dang Golden berry yourself - I only expected to have to use this message for music vids but it turns out theyre on my gameplay vids too and this just feels frustrating to deal with.]
After the marathon of the A-side and the gauntlet of the B-side, the relatively leisurely stroll of the C-side is always a nice lil palate cleanser before moving on to the next stage. 7C is no different here - a half-hours worth of practice the night before to get the ol muscle memory back into shape, then a 13-minute recording on a calm Sunday afternoon to get the clear. And honestly, the best thing about this isnt that I can put the Summits B-side remix behind me (its nice, but its a lot of build-up for no payoff) - its the death counter at the end of the whole run. Ya cant beat that!
And with the main games stages done, its on to the bonus stages (of sorts) - the oppressive caverns leading to the Core of the Mountain... Celeste - 7C Golden Strawberry](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YY-bUpO-Bk4/mqdefault.jpg)

I could make other suggestions, but theyd border on theft, and as such Im not going to do it.]
Beating up his cultists may have been a bad idea...
Trying to find extensions of this track was annoying, mainly because most of the popular ones got the loop wrong. Theres either an unnatural connection between the tracks, or the music has a noticeable skip as it loops. So I put some time aside and found what sounded like the natural way of looping the track. Turns out there IS a loop point, but the in-game loop is similarly unnatural (youre not gonna notice it over the gunfire, magic-blasting and screeching from the big baddie)
So here it is. The Moon Lord track extended to over 20 minutes for your listening pleasure. This goes without saying, but I own none of the content in this video:
- The music was created by Scott Lloyd Shelly and can be found here: http://re-logic.bandcamp.com/
- Whilst the picture in the video was originally drawn by Phantoon on Tumblr, and is used with their permission: http://phantoon.tumblr.com/post/136784757633/
...I highly recommend giving both these websites a look, as they both have some solid content on offer! Terraria Extended - Moon Lord](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YrjnNhKNI5Y/mqdefault.jpg)

Slowly more work on the backlog - might be done by the end of 2022! This was a single run that I ended up recording most of the bits of, with some silly little antics. Spelunky 2 Online with Werbad! Part 13: Some Sorta Win](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZeMSN5ijC5g/mqdefault.jpg)
