Thetical's Quest continues! This here is the soundtrack to our hero exploring an ancient ruin; a relic of a former, more glorious age, haunted by the ghosts of a long-abandoned civilization.
This piece features a "live" choir! It's just my voice, overdubbed many many times and treated with about a dozen different effects. This is a recording technique I've been developing over the past year or so. It's still not quite there yet, and I think it works better for big "epic" stuff as opposed to the "ethereal" sort of vibe I'm going for here.
What kinds of music would you like to hear in this game? Maybe an underwater level? Subterranean spelunking expedition? Birdmonster riding minigame? Overpriced item shop? Put your suggestions in the comments!
