Your car passed homologation tests with the original mirrors and the whole surface available. By adding the stick on mirrors, you are decreasing that surface and here is where problems begin. In some countries it's legal to have added mirrors above or beside the original ones, but not on top of them.
But, overall, it's better to just buy the proper glass, with dedicated blind spot area!
