2009's "Knowing" is a truly fascinating film. Helmed by "The Crow" and "I, Robot" director Alex Proyas, the film follows a boilerplate Nic Cage protagonist as he stumbles upon a code that contains dates, death tolls, and coordinates, all of which point to the coming of an apocalyptic calamity.
