Every year baseball players over perform and under perform. There is a metric on Fangraphs called Zips Projections where you can see what experts and a computer algorithm think a players stats will be based off of past performance and age. I took this data and compared it to see if there is a correlation between performance and price movements. I don't want to spoil anything, but the baseball cards generally followed the path of a players performance. I also discuss if looking at Zips projections next year can help you predict who you think might be a good buy heading into the 2024 baseball season.
