I love boots, I tend to wear them most of the year - they just make sense for my life. Hiking, working around the property, going to the grocery store in a blizzard, whatever it is - boots keep my feet dry, comfortable, and protected. Enter the Lems Boulder Summit Waterproof Boots - the most comfortable pair of boots that I've ever tried. My feet loved these boots from the moment I put them on - finally a boot that my feets are happy in. This is largely due to their anotamically correct wide toe box, and I guess the zero rise type stuff probably helps too.
