Dogs that can defeat wolves

Generally, wolves are more robust than dogs. They have more endurance power, greater bite force, and run faster. However, our world also has large breeds of dogs known as wolfhounds. Wolfhounds are dog breeds that can defeat a wolf singlehandedly. They prevent wolves from attacking their herd and are also used by humans to hunt for large animals.
Dogo Argentino
The Dogo Argentino is the descendant of the now-extinct fighting dog of Cordoba. Dogo Argentino is a large muscular dog breed originally produced in Argentina to be used for big-game hunting animals such as a wild boar. This dog was bred to showcase bravery and for protection to humans against wild animals. A Dogo Argentino can defeat a younger wolf, however.
Irish wolfhound
The Irish Wolfhound is an ancient sight hound breed of dogs that originated from Ireland. The Irish wolfhound's interesting vibes and huge size has inspired many poetries and mythologies. Like all sight hounds, Irish wolfhounds are fast runners and are utilized as guardian dogs to protect against wolves. They are also used for hunting of wolves, bears, deer, and other large animals.
Kangal Shepherd Dog
The Kangal Shepherd Dog is a dog breed that has its origins from Anatolia in Turkey. This dog was bred to protect the livestock in Turkey. It fended off all predators, no matter what sizes, be it wolves, bears, or jackals. Kangal is known to have the strongest bite force among all canines. Boerboel
Boerboel is a dog breed that is originally from South Africa. During the 1860s, at the time when the military posts were spread across South Africa's borders. Bloodhounds, greyhounds, bulldogs, and many other dog breeds were allotted at each post, and Boerboel was a cross between these breeds. The best known Boer dogs became popular from these military posts areas.
Caucasian Shepherd Dog
The Caucasian Shepherd Dog is from the Caucasus region and was standardized by the Soviet Union in the 20th century.
Caucasian Shepherd Dogs were initially bred to protect livestock against wild animals such as wolves and coyotes and properties from intruders. Caucasian Shepherd Dogs became famous for their intelligence and brave nature that allows them to fight and even at times, kill wolves. The Caucasian Shepherd dog has a bite of 550-700 PSI, and hence it is safe to say that this dog is a fighter.
