I cut a 2.5 hour Floppy Deep Dive livestream down into this Director's Cut episode. Real Commodore 64 hardware, real 5.25" floppies, real loading problems, and a live chat helping me figure things out as we go.
This time we dig into one of my old C64 floppy disks from the BBS days, including games and weird files I downloaded decades ago. Some things load. Some things don't. Some things definitely weren't what I expected.
We run into PAL/NTSC issues, old disk drive loading delays, strange utilities, confusing games with no manual, and a Rampage surprise that turns into one of the best troubleshooting moments of the night.
This is not an emulator showcase, and it's not scripted. Real systems, real hardware, all human, figuring it out live with no script and no second takes. A Commodore 64, a 1541 disk drive, old floppy disks, CRTs, glitches, loading sounds, and the chat acting as the manual.
