Come along as we dive into the new 12.1 side quests on the Coiled Isle, starting with A Bond of Brothers, where two Amani troll siblings and their fallen friend's little brother lead to one of the most gutting sacrifices I've seen in a WoW quest in years. From there I follow Gone Dark, which uncovers Hex Lord Malacrass' horrifying experiments fusing Amani trolls with Ula'tek's serpent children, and the fate of the scout sent to investigate it. I close things out with the Ghosts of the Ring questline, helping a spirit break his lost love free from a ten thousand year memory loop. Patch 12.1's side content has genuinely been some of the best storytelling Blizzard has put in the game in a while, and this stretch might be the strongest yet.
