Ps: apologies for the first half of the capture, I completely forgot to put the program to full screen! XD
There has been no additional material to reignite the sparks of the debate to support filaments in Tyrannosaurids, just as there has been never any evidence or studies published and described on "lips" (extra oral tissue extending to cover the teeth) of theropods in general. The former is solely centered around old and crude arguments and opinions, many of which are based on myths and misconceptions. The latter is at most based on an old thesis, which has never been peer reviewed and published in scientific hournal, lacked actual quantifiable evidence to support the claim and some occasional blog post opinion pieces.
The debate overall is given too much attention than it deserves at this point in my opinion, for the reasons I provided above. More evidence pointing either way may somehow be a worthy cause to revise it, but at the moment I see no reason to keep going on about it.
In any case, those were my own thoughts, you however enjoy the video and stay safe! :)
