Thermal drone footage captured the interior of a hydropower project tunnel in Nepal’s Rasuwa district on Monday (Aug 31), as rescue operations continued in the aftermath of the Himalayan flood on Aug 26. The black and white thermal footage showed the curved roof and interior walls of the tunnel at Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project. Rescuers pressed on to reach at least 3 workers believed to be trapped underground following the floods, but hopes were dashed when the level of flood, mud, water and soil rose up 90 per cent high. #Nepal #flood
