Firstly, I want to thank anyone and everyone who approaches this video and this message with an open mind, patience and understanding.
It's not my intention to single out any one individual - or to call anyone or any group as "bad people" or "evil", rather to address a common attitude towards certain members of our online community, particularly our content creators who put themselves behind the camera to share their experience and wisdom with the rest of us.
In most cases, this is something that's met with appreciation and affection - but for others, for completely unjustified reasons, they become targets by hurtful individuals - who's intention is just to hurt, demean, belittle and alienate.
This online art community is something to be cherished, it can't be taken for granted. Some of the most generous and kind-hearted people are part of it, including many of our hard-working content creators.
It's our responsibility to protect our community when hurtful behaviour starts seeping its way in - particular women and members of minority groups, who are often at the receiving end of some pretty heinous and demeaning treatment.
People who post videos like this can make themselves targets to vitriol and aggressive trolling, like I have been in the past - so we all need to collectively share our voices so no woman, man or other has to bear being the target on their own. We need to all serve as each others protectors.
If you've ever found yourself at the receiving end of this kind of hatred then you know full-well that it isn't - it's a serious issue that requires serious action.
It can be incredibly difficult, saddening and frightening to be targeted like this - so we need to stop it in its tracks.
