There is no such thing as a Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, Jahova, etc
These are just names given to as set of parameters for the immature and ignorant population on Earth.
The truth of any religions is that the individuals like Jesus, Mohammed, or any other realized man or woman has had an experience of being one with the whole, the lot, the universe.
They then tried to explain those experiences to others using words.
However, the words are not the experience, instead the words are just pointers towards the experience.
So, anyone without the direct experience of being one with the whole, is therefore insecure about his or her place in existence.
The insecurity of not knowing your origins or your implicit connection to the entire universe causes the individual to clamp to the words of another. They then make interpretations of what the master, teacher, prophet meant, instead of living, doing and being what the master says. In other words, they turn the explanation of the masters into dogma, concepts and mental aberrations of the master’s experience.
Without direct experience, they are insecure and uncertain about who or what they are and they clamp to silly ideas such as Muslim, Jew, Christian, Hindu, Jehovah, Buddhist, etc......
In order to maintain that illusory identity, they will defend their illusions vehemently and cause pain and suffering to others and themselves in the process.
This is, of course, the exact thing that the masters want to avoid. They want to liberate the individuals from the pain and suffering caused by NOT BEING the direct experience. Somehow, the individuals pretending to want to be one with God, Allah, Universe, Source, or whatever name you wish to give the mystery, are unable to apply the techniques, meditations, teaching of the masters.
They remain without the direct experience of unity and instead continue the unending cycle of suffering by continuing to use the mind, thoughts, concepts and beliefs.
Unable to shift from thought (mind) to presence (being), they perpetuate the illusion all the while thinking they are serving their "God".
