Bali to Komodo 2016 Statement:
We are a multi-generational group of people with four decades of ocean conservation and scientific expertise, coming from 6 continents; made up of scientists, filmmakers, representatives of the media, visual artists, students, naturalists, philanthropists, and environmental activists. During our travels in Indonesia we have witnessed first-hand the plastic pollution crisis, and the impact of plastics on the ocean and the damage it is causing the marine environment. As citizens of a global community we commit, as one voice, to changing our individual behavior and the behavior of society, to drive global systemic change, and to eliminate plastic pollution worldwide.
