My gosh, in this wild episode in my weekly series of theorizations, I delve deep into the inner workings of Netflix’s “Lemony Snicket’s: A Series of Unfortunate Events” in an attempt to string it to the books in a way that spoils the writers’ next massive plot twist!
NOTE: In the flashback masked ball scene, the woman who writes "Olaf Knows" has the same leather gloves. We then see Lemony call out to Beatrice, in a dragonfly costume, proving the leather glove woman is Kit. Also, it's funny how the writers made sure to cut off Jacques' tape recording RIGHT before he explained WHO the survivor was. Either when it was Esme popping up, or Olaf breaking the projector, they both cut out at the same time! Also, the double fake out COULD be the fact that Beatrice DID survive the initial fire like those other theories state, and THAT was what Jacques meant (and we were supposed to think Quigley), but Beatrice, or course, is certainly NOW dead.
