The Great Commission, found in Matthew 28:18-20, is God’s mandate for Christians ever since Jesus’ resurrection, to make and baptize disciples, teaching them about God’s character, values, and commands.
Jesus said, "teaching them to obey -everything- that I have commanded you." The Lord indicated, in his teaching, God’s value of and care for all creation, inviting believers to view earth through God’s perspective, and to tend the earth as Christ incarnate.
This is my own theology on science and care for the earth.
